Privacy Policy

Jackson Chiropractic is required to collect and process personal and sensitive data as part of their statutory duty as a Chiropractor regulated by the General Chiropractic Council. The data processed will be collected lawfully, fairly and in a transparent manner. Your data will not be shared with any third party without your permission; however, we may disclose information about you for the following purposes:

  • To the extent that we are required to do so by law.
  • For insurance purposes.
  • In connection with any legal/regulatory proceedings or prospective legal regulatory proceedings.
  • In order to establish, exercise or defend our legal rights (including providing information to others for the purposes of fraud prevention and reducing credit risk).

​The collection of your personal information is to provide you with the best possible care plan and treatment. You can refuse to provide the information, however, in doing so no treatment or care plan will be provided. 

Patient records are held for a minimum of eight years after the last treatment and your data will be stored on a GDPR approved cloud-based patient management and accounts system, however, no method of transmitting or storing data is completely secure. You may ask at any time for information about any personal data we hold about you or ask us to correct or delete information. We will try and complete this request within 30 days of the initial demand. Please email [email protected] if you wish to start this process.

We will inform you if a substantial change to the Privacy Policy is made that involves the use of your Personally Identifiable Information. Your continued use of this website will indicate acceptance of the changes. Please exit the site immediately if you do not agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy or any revised policy.
